~ snap it ... soft ~

Caramel is just about the only soft centre I really like... but even then I like the harder, chewy ones better.
I can still pick the hard and soft centres - and my favourites - without thinking from a box of Roses
Which one is your favourite?

Playing along with Sarah at faith, hope and a whole lotta love

  1. You are so clever I love your take on soft. My favourite centre would have to be the strawberry and the orange, but I have to share the strawberry with someone else in the house;) Love your gorgeous photos. xx

  3. Oh gosh I haven't had Roses in the longest time!

I love strawberry, peppermint and caramel. And cherry ripe.

Just as an aside, I have also always thought that Cadbury should release a whole block of the pineapple chocolate that they have in their Snack bar.

  5. Yum. Vanilla caramel is my favourite, though it is not as chewy as it used to be. Many years ago I wrote to Cadburys to tell them I wan't happy with the chewiness of their Vanilla Caramel as I thought the super chewy version was much better. Do you know they didn't even respond to me? Maybe they thought it was a joke. I was deadly serious :)
ps note to Shelley above, I love the turkish delights too!

  6. It's been so long since I had Roses I'm not sure I remember what the flavours are, lol....caramel, peppermint, cherry ripe...
    This probably means I should get a box & re-acquaint myself :)

  8. Oh my, Ally, my mouth is watering. I LOVE the caramel centre. I also love the hazelnut swirl and turkish delight... actually they're all good, except maybe cherry ripe, not keen on that. It's a worry that I know all the flavours simply by looking at the wrappers!

  9. Totes Turkish delight! I much prefer the hard centers or nuts though. The squishy ones are not my fave, I'll eat them by the boxful though, if I have to.

  15. I love Roses! They are the best!! And I, too, can pick all of them without looking at the pictures. Chewy centres appeal to me more than smooth centres but I'm also partial to Turkish delight.
