These are my yesterdays.
Journals filled with words, memories, dreams and random bits of our life.
I rarely go back through them...but when I do I get so teary and emotional.
And I realise just how much I forget...and how good the remembering is.
I join in with Sarah and her snap-it game every Wednesday.
What happened to you yesterday?
♥
Well, yesterday we got our awesome visa news as you know :)
ReplyDeleteI think that keeping journals like this is a really great idea and, having read this post, am thinking of taking it up too. It would be really lovely to have some kind of record of everything, especially as the years go by.
what sweet looking journals too! With the older two at their grandparents, the little lady and I didn't even leave the house yesterday, we sat and watched the rain come down, and keep coming!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very ordered row of yesterdays, mine are a bit more chaotic, meandering.
ReplyDeleteYesterday was a great day, thank you. Looking forward to more of the same today x.
what a beautiful yesterday!!!! what treasured memories, do you still document in journals or save it for blogging?
ReplyDeleteI'm still doing both...and trying to organise photo books too.
DeleteExhausting!!
yesterday I slept late & lounged around. it was nice :)
ReplyDeleteI love that you journal! I found a whole stack of old diaries when I moved back to England. Some are hilarious, some cringey, some I'm too scared to read! Great memories though. x Ps - can't believe I've only just got round to following you after seeing your beautiful Instagram pics for so long! x
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't dare read my school ones but the ones since the kids were born are so lovely.
DeleteGlad you found me here!
Oh how gorgeous is your neat row of journals.
ReplyDeleteI wish I kept a journal but I just never seem to be able to keep it up.
At least I have the blog.
And yesterday I baked for most of the day.
And played snakes and ladders with the four year old a heap of times too.
Does your 4yo throw the board when she loses?? I've given up that game...too many tantrums from our little 3yo. He's better with uno and memory (ie I can make him win!!)
Deletelovely memories, moments recorded on paper. so wonderful xx
ReplyDeleteNo one ever has journals or diaries anymore!! So lovely for you to re-read your memories! And maybe 'share' them with the little ones when they are much, much older!!?
ReplyDeleteI used to be a great journal writer, but the blog is now where I write about what we do or get up to. Obviously it's not very private, so I don't share everything at my blog. Maybe I should write the personal things down so I can treasure everything. I haven't read my school year journals (written from age 14-23) too much teenage angst.

ReplyDeleteLovely journals. I used to keep journals very regularly, but not these days. I should get back into it really.
