The end of the month always sneaks up on me ... I never seem quite prepared for the mood board.
Today I had 5 minutes to snip away in the garden and then decided to stick my blossoms to the wall for a quick and easy photo shoot.
There were shrieks when the girls arrived home and now they're planning the same for their rooms.
(what have I started??).
No leaves are falling yet but we can feel the evenings becoming cooler. The garden is yearning for some regular rain. Autumn approaches...
I join in with monthly mood boards with Karin and others here.

I really love your mood boards Ally and this one with the blooms just stuck on the wall like that is SO pretty . I think you may have started something big and I'm now quite tempted to do this with my feathers :-) Have a great weekend. Mel x

ReplyDeleteWe ahve had sooo much rain, our garden is begging for some sunshine (today we are flooded in for the 3rd time in 5 weeks). Happy autumn xx

hi ally...simple ideas (made under pressure!) are often the best....my little one is at the age where every bloom (or weed) is picked and given to her mumma....im going to pinch this fab idea and tape them to the wall!....she gives feathers rocks (usually gravel) and once rather unfortunately a dried up piece of dog poop!.....what a great idea! (nope to the poop!)....I have a great collection of pretty tape to use.....now the rain just has to stop. x
ReplyDeletesadly the weeds last the longest and the prettiest flowers droop first - so they are fleeting pleasures and moments of whimsy
Deleteso lovely :)
ReplyDelete& whatever the plant in the second photo is, it's really pretty.
thanks Vickie
Deletethe second shot is of a pod (or something) from a clematis vine - the flowers are super lovely too
Cute idea to stick flowers to the wall, I like it! Lovely flowers you have in your garden :-)

Beautiful! I will be collecting & sticking with tape too. I know Bean will love it too... although her sticky of choice at the mo is "grey tac". Xx
ReplyDeleteGracie still calls it "glue tac". Hope everything is going well
