~ garden mood board - August ~

My garden is certainly ready to farewell winter and welcome spring (just like I am).
The blossoms are out, green bulbs are pushing their way through (slightly) warmer soil.
It's the seasonal of renewal, of new beginnings.

We haven't anything to harvest (except lemons and herbs) so I'm concentrating on the pretty blossoms and bulbs that make my heart sing.  I've filled pots with seedlings and bulbs and can't wait to see them bloom over the next few weeks.

I'm joining in with monthly garden mood boards (and I'm always a day late!) with Karin.

  2. Beautiful flowers. I am terrible at gardening! The previous occupants of our house planted lots and lots of irises though so I look forward to them blooming.

  9. What beautiful images! So so pretty. It's great to have spring here, it makes me feel a bit brighter about things. You say your tulips drooped - that's no good, though they can still look pretty like that. I tend to keep mine in water in the plastic wrapping for an hour or two before I unwrap them. That helps :)
