~ kids were here [October] ~

While we try to teach our children all about life,
Our children teach us what life is all about.
~Angela Schwindt

I'm really not very good at ignoring the mess, at picking up the camera before I pick up the things lying around.

But I'm trying....

Each month I collect images that are tangible proof that my children live here - their treasures, their messes, their creations.. little pieces of them scattered through our house, our garden, our hearts.

My other posts as part of this series are here, here, here and here.
(The original inspiration can be found at kids were here.)

  1. love this, makes you look at the "mess" for what it really is. evidence of your kids having fun, learning, loving, experiencing life. this is great. Not sure which is my favorite but I loved the toys on the vegemite etc, teddy on the potty with the dino giving encouragement and the line up of (dying) grass seeds with the bandaids and lego man.
And clever kids matching up the cards with the letters great way to use these cards

    1. The 4 year came up with the card matching idea on his own - with his doubles - and he used all the blu-tak we had!!
