~ snapshots of March - the IG version ~

March via photo a day on Instagram
(minus a day because I couldn't make 31 photos fit into a mosaic)
2 months in and I'm already thinking that a photo a day for a year is within the realms of possiblity.
My DSLR is feeling very neglected though.

Do you use a camera other than your phone anymore?

  2. My phone doesn't have a camera so ... er ... no. That said if it did (have a decent camera) I would likely use it a lot.

I laughed at the 30 pics coz there's no mosaic for 31 ;-)

  3. Hi Ally,

Inspired by your lovely photos and feeling that my point-and-click was just not up to the job - I have bought a pre-loved DSLR! Yes, the camera phone captures great on the go photos, but the 'big boy' is soooo much better.

    Love your mosaic.

  4. I"m terrible, my iPhone and now the new iPad are our default, but I really should get the DSLR out more often, cause the photos are infinitely better. I love your IG photos.

  5. Rarely. I am neglecting my other camera also. Although it might have held up a little better if I had dropped it into wet icing, unlike my (now) sticky iPhone. Oops! I love IG...I need to get onto it. I've been too busy with other obsessions. Have a wonderful Easter! Your flower shots make me wish I was outside doing that too. I'm aiming to do some this weekend. xx

  6. I love your pictures Ally, always looking forward to what you are going to post :) I think you enticed me to try the April challenge...but totally agree IG is so quick and easy for snapping away those little moments! It makes the bigger camera job much longer but I am still on a 3g version with phone, so in a way..."glad the pics are not so clear" to make me want to go back to the camera :)

  7. I love your photos! Beautiful collection! I've just joined #photoadayapril - hope my collection looks that marvellous at the end of the month :) Must admit that the camera on my iphone is so great that I barely pick up the proper camera {unless it's a special ocassion}! I resisted for so long but afraid my phone has become a dictation device, camera, computer, notepad, magazine and letterbox - and I fear without it I'd be a little lost! xx

  8. I do enjoy seeing what you've been up to and your photos are always inspiring. I do have fun getting out my Iphone too it is easy to just click but since I bought my new toy (DSLR) I've been using that now and having lots of fun too. xx

  9. I use (overuse) both - the dSLR and the iPhone. The iPhone has replaced the way I'd use a point and shoot so I can't justify the expense of getting a nice P&S despite my occasional yearnings. Looking at your mosaic up there proves that it's the photographer that matters not the equipment! I love your shots on IG.
