I LOVE lavender! I only wish I could keep it alive. Even Green Thumb D couldn't bring ours back from the brink. Love all these, but especially the fuzzy bee bum in the first shot and the lovely soft colours in the third. Happy Wednesday. xox
As always beautiful photos. The bumble bee makes me laugh, our dog Nigella is obsessed with catching bees, bumble bees and wasps. She was once stung badly by wasps, and has now taken it on as personal mission to decrease the population on her own. Of course with all our herbs growing along the front of the hut, Nigella is beside herself with opportunities for snapping. She even positions herself nearest the basil with the most flowers in order to get the best opportunity to catch them!
Your lavender is lovely indeed:) I love brushing my hands up against lavender, it's such a pretty smelling flower. I used to have a beautiful bush of it but with all of the rain we got last year it died, way too much water. Your photos are stunning Ally, I love the softness of the third photo. I hope you are having a lovely Wednesday. xx
hello Michelle - hope all is well. I read about a lady who had a lavender bush just ourside her laundry to dry her hankies on...how lovely would that be?
